Mixed UseDowntown at the Gardens
As Director of Architecture at Menin Development, this premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination in Palm Beach Gardens was carefully planned, designed, and constructed. Nexus followed up with several architectural designs on unique specialty stores and lease plans and still continue to do work for the new owners of DATG. Delray Mixed Use Full site planning, architecture and engineering services included consultant coordination and project management for this project in the Pineapple Grove District of Historic Downtown Delray Beach. Two and three bedroom condominiums on the second floor with retail spaces on the first floor had site / parking challenges. Northpointe Plaza Full architectural services and master site planning incorporating the latest urban and suburban design theories to create a pedestrian friendly retail center. Amenities include outdoor seating, public art, bike racks and environmental graphics and protection devices. The challenge was to give tenants a strong presence from the main road and hide the parking structures. Retail shops were designed with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows to encourage sales and visibility. Massing was broken into 5 buildings with connecting bridges for offices above. |
